The Chairman and CEO Nominating Committee conducted an in-depth interview with each of the four candidates selected for the final round of evaluations and decided on the final nominee for chairman and chief executive officer of KBFG.

The Chairman and CEO Nominating Committee (the “Committee”) serving under the Board of Directors of KB Financial Group Inc. (“KBFG”) held its fifth meeting at the head office of KBFG in the afternoon of October 22, 2014. The Committee, chaired by Young Jin Kim, conducted an in-depth interview with each of the four candidates, Ki Hong Kim, Jong Kyoo Yoon, Dong Hyun Ji and Yung Ku Ha, who had been selected for the final round of evaluations.

Following the interviews, the members of the Committee exchanged their opinions about each candidate, taking into consideration the results of the reputation inquiry reports and the interviews with the candidates, and selected the final nominee through voting. Jong Kyoo Yoon, a candidate who received six votes, which is equivalent to two thirds of the votes cast by the nine-member Committee, was selected as the nominee for chairman and chief executive officer of KBFG.  Upon completion of certain qualification verifications, the Committee plans to recommend Jong Kyoo Yoon to the Board of Directors of KBFG as the nominee for chairman and chief executive officer.

Jong Kyoo Yoon is expected to be appointed as the chairman and chief executive officer of KBFG at the meeting of the Board of Directors, subject to shareholder approval at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of KBFG, both of which are scheduled to take place on November 21, 2014.
