2. Response: Kookmin Bank has considered the possibility of acquiring treasury stock, but has made no specific decision in connection with the above. Kookmin Bank plans to update its disclosure regarding the status of this matter by no later than January 9, 2009 (and, if a definitive decision regarding this matter is made by Kookmin Bank prior to such date, immediately upon such decision).
