Clarification of Rumor Regarding Acquisition of Shares of Eugene Investment & Securities Co., Ltd.
2008-04-25On April 24, 2008, the Korea Exchange (“KRX”) requested Kookmin Bank to clarify a rumor regarding alleged plans by Kookmin Bank to acquire shares of Eugene Investment & Securities Co., Ltd.
In response to this request, Kookmin Bank filed a statement with the KRX on April 24, 2008, stating that the abovementioned rumor is groundless.
