Acceleration of Listing Date on the NYSE
2001-10-31On October 31, 2001, H&CB confirmed new listing date of the merged bank’s American depositary shares (the “ New Kookmin ADSs”) on the New York Stock Exchange (the “NYSE”).
As the merged bank will register to be incorporated on November 1, 2001, the newly estimated listing date on the NYSE shall be adjusted as November 1, 2001. Accordingly, from November 1, the holders of American depositary shares can trade their New Kookmin ADSs, which will be issued pursuant to the merger agreement entered between Kookmin Bank and H&CB on April 23, 2001.
The new ticker symbol for New Kookmin ADSs shall be “KB”.
